After an early spell in the Academy set-up at Wanderers, Morley returned to the club in January, 2022 with more than 120 senior appearances under his belt thanks to a successful start to his senior career with Rochdale.

His form in the second half of the campaign – before a late injury at Barnsley kept him out of the final few games – earned Morley the Players’ Player of the Season award as he clocked up 100 starts for the Whites.
