Attacking midfielder with over 100 league appearances to his name with Wanderers after signing from Gillingham at the end of the January, 2022 transfer window.

A dynamic performer, Dempsey would have added further to the combined 400 club games clocked up for Carlisle, Huddersfield, Fleetwood, Gillingham and the Whites but for injury issues which blighted his 2024/25 campaign.

Dempsey also suffered a set-back towards the end of that season to delay his start to the 2025/26 campaign but will hope to return back to his best form which saw him twice help Wanderers reach the League One play-offs and win the EFL Trophy at Wembley in 2023 where he scored the opening goa in a man-ofh-the-match performance.
