Wanderers brought Taylor back to England when they made the powerful central defender one of their 2025 summer signings.

The London-born player had started his career in the youth system at Burnley before getting his first taste of League football with Southend United.

Taylor also played on loan at Barnet but dropped out of the professional ranks before a successful season in the League of Ireland with Waterford landed him a move to the Scottish Premiership with St Mirren in January, 2023 before Wanderers made their move 18 months later to sign the 24-year-old on a three-year contract.
