One of Wanderers’ longest serving players after signing from Newport County in the summer of 2021 and closing in on 150 appearances for the Whites at the start of the 2025/26 campaign with two years left on his current deal.

The Wales international – who started his career at Swansea City before racking up over 100 league starts for Newport and twice helping them to the League Two play-off final – suffered a serious knee injury in his first season with Wanderers and missed close to a year of League One football.

Outstanding in the 2023/24 season as Wanderers reached the League One play-off final, the play-maker was named the Whites’ Player and Players’ Player of the Season and was also named in the PFA and EFL League One teams of the year.

Restored to the Wales national squad he was a regular starter in Craig Bellamy’s early games in charge as he looked to help his country reach the 2026 World Cup finals.
