Bolton Wanderers Women is delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Natasha Dale.

A lifelong Wanderers fan with experience in higher tiers of the women’s pyramid, Natasha links up with the Whites after a successful period on trial.

Having impressed the coaching staff immensely with not only her footballing ability, but her character and personality both on and off-the-field, Natasha becomes the latest arrival to Wanderers Women following the signings of Annabelle White, Abbie Brown and Lucy Walsh.

A player that was part of Bolton Wanderers in the Community’s Women’s college programme, Natasha made the move to Chorley in Tier Four before earning a contract with Blackburn Rovers in their youth setup.

Making her way through the pathway at Rovers before her first team debut for the club in the Conti Cup, coming on as a substitute against Durham back in October 2023.

Tash went in search of game time and experience as part of her development, with spells on dual-registration in both Tier Three and Four, including a successful spell at AFC Fylde.

Having played in Wanderers’ pre-season opener against Atherton LR last weekend - running out 3-1 winners - Natasha now officially becomes a Wanderer as the new season edges closer.

On signing for her hometown club, Natasha Dale said: “It’s a really exciting project that we have here, and I can’t wait to get started.

“Having seen the progress they made from afar last season, and having spoken with Myles before signing, it’s a brilliant environment to be in and I just want to get going now.

“Growing up supporting Bolton and being so close to the football club already, it just makes this extra special for me and my family that I can now play for the Women’s team.

“You don’t see the backing that the club has given this Women’s team everywhere, so I know that I am very lucky to be here and play for such a brilliant club.”

Myles Smith, Women’s manager, said: “Tash has been absolutely brilliant since walking through the door on trial, and made it almost impossible for us not to sign her for the upcoming season.

“We knew what she could offer us on the pitch in terms of her ability when arrived, but the impact she has had on the group around her, and the standards she sets, is equally as impressive.

“She offers us both quality and experience in a number of positions, and as a Bolton fan herself, knows what this club is all about as she joins us on this exciting journey.”
