Women | Exciting Forward Evie Sadler Joins Wanderers!

Evie sadler

Bolton Wanderers Women is delighted to announce the signing of exciting forward Evie Sadler, who joins the club after time with Burnley FC in the third tier of the Women’s pyramid.

The Wales Youth international joins Wanderers Women on the eve of the new season, as Myles Smith’s side open their campaign away to Darwen on Sunday afternoon (kick-off 2pm).

Starting her career in grassroots football and impressing immensely, Evie’s talent on the football pitch took her to the academy of Liverpool FC to develop her craft.

Progressing through their academy pathway for a number of years, the forward then moved into the North Wales youth setup, before joining Burnley FC for her first season within a senior environment.

With experience playing international football for Wales at youth level, Evie now moves to the Whites looking to ignite their forward line further - adding further competition at the top end of the field - and score goals to help push Wanderers towards another successful season.

On signing for Wanderers, Evie said: “I’m just excited to get going now.

“To be in a team that is competing and aiming for promotion is something that I’m looking forward to. I’m confident that I can contribute in a team that looks to attack, and hopefully I can show people what I can do.

“After hearing all of the different coaches speaking and what the plan is at the this Football Club, as well as what they want to achieve this season, it just felt like the right place to be. I can’t wait to get started.”

Myles Smith, Women’s Manager, said: “I am delighted to welcome Evie to Bolton Wanderers.

“She is an exciting player with so much potential to grow and excel within our environment. She has an eye for a goal and is a player we believe can be huge for us for this season and beyond.

“With the season just around the corner, the work starts now to get Evie integrated within the group and we can’t wait to see what she can potentially produce in a Bolton shirt.”
