Steven Schumacher is backing all his players to step up when needed as Wanderers pass the half-way point of a busy opening month of the season.
The Whites face Reading on Wednesday night in the first of big back-to-back home games (KO 8pm).
It will also be Wanderers’ fifth fixture of seven in August with Schumacher ready to deploy all of his necessary resources in a squad which is still partially depleted by a number of injury absentees.
“I just think in the three-game weeks that we've had - last week and this week - that you have to try and use your squad,” said the Whites’ head coach.
“And if I'm saying to the squad I believe in everybody and everybody that we've brought to the club is going to contribute, and then don't act on that when I think there's a good time to do it, then they (might not) start to believe in some other things that you might say.

“But also, I'm not going to start making changes just for the sake of it. We have a game plan to try and get the better of Reading on Wednesday night and we'll pick a team that we think will best suit that game plan.
“And then if we do really well on that, then once we finish against Reading we'll get on to how we go and play against Lincoln, which might take different personnel. It’s always opponent-based on what we're trying to do and see where we can pick our team to give us the best chance to win.”
John McAtee came off the bench to bag Wanderers’ equaliser at Barnsley on Saturday, while recent recruit Ibrahim Cissoko got his first taste of action via a substitute’s cameo.
They could add to the Whites’ attacking options with Schumacher still looking for a sharper cutting edge against a Reading side without a point so far.
“Everybody knows the first goal is important in games,” added the boss, whose side will be looking to make it two wins out of two at home in League One so far. “If we can be clinical and defend our box really well, and be clinical in the opposition's penalty box, then we'll have, again, a better chance to win. That's the message to the players. Just tidy up in the big moments.
“I don't think the players are looking too much into where Reading are currently. It's so early in the season that results can happen. I said to them this morning when we did the video presentation on Reading that, for me, they've played well in their games.
“I think they've edged the XG (expected goals) in two out of the three games and haven't been clinical enough, exactly what I've just been speaking about. They've had big moments and haven't managed to score.
“They know the players that Reading have got and what they're capable of. We won't take them lightly because they're bottom of the league. It makes no difference in this early stage of the season.
“We've just got to try and do the business where we can. Like I always say, it's over to us. We've got to make sure we take care of what we need to take care of, try and be positive, try and play in a style that's good to watch but, most importantly, try and find a way to win.”
Wanderers are still without six senior players but summer signings Sam Dalby and Richard Taylor are heading back towards fitness and could figure in a behind-closed-doors B Team game in the Central League on Wednesday.
