Wanderers continue their pre-season preparations with a first domestic outing in front of the fans - and a first outing for their brand-new away kit.
The Whites will wear their new-look 2025/26 away strip as they head north to face League Two side Barrow AFC tonight (Tuesday) to kick off a run of four friendlies against EFL and SPL opposition ahead of the start of the new League One season on the first weekend of August.
Wanderers have so far drawn 1-1 with Tranmere Rovers in a training-ground game before beating South African side Orlando Pirates 2-0 at the end of their week-long training camp in Spain as Steven Schumacher’s men build up their fitness and put plans in place.
The Whites’ boss used 22 players in last Friday’s game in Marbella and is set to utilise most of his squad again at Holker Street to spread the game-time around his fit and available personnel.

Barrow have so far played three warm-up games as part of their summer schedule, with a 3-0 win over local side Holker Old Boys followed by a 1-0 training ground loss at Huddersfield Town and a 2-0 win at Northern Premier League outfit Lancaster City last Saturday.
Wanderers follow their trip to Barrow with a visit to Scottish Premier League side Hibernian on Saturday ahead of games away to Shrewsbury Town (Tuesday, 22nd July) and at home to Preston North End (Saturday, 26th July) to complete their pre-season programme.
Kick-off against Barrow at the SO Legal Stadium is 7pm and supporters can pay on the night. Tickets can be bought from main reception with cash or card with prices as follows: Adults: £10; Concessions (senior 65+, 18-21, 7-17) all £5; Under-sevens are free with an accompanying adult.
Schumacher's men will wear the new away kit, which reflects the colours worn 20 years ago by the club in their first taste of European football. The strip was launched yesterday (Monday) and is available to pre-order with all details of how to purchase available HERE
