The Bolton Wanderers Development Association (BWDA) were proud to present a cheque for £1,011.87 to Ben Lawton, Deputy CEO of Bolton Wanderers in the Community (BWitC).
This marks the second cheque delivered since the BWDA began operating in 2024, bringing the total raised so far to £2,511.87. The BWDA’s Goldline initiative continues to support BWitC, with 20p from every £1 contributed by new members going directly to the charity.
BWitC runs numerous community-focused programmes, including the Extra Time Hub, a social space for people over 50 that offers weekly activities such as quizzes, crafts, and yoga.
The Sutton Family Hub, which provides a welcoming environment for families to access refreshments, children's activities, and support services focused on life skills and wellbeing.
In addition to these initiatives, the BWDA recently funded the refurbishment of a double box in the East Stand, now used by both the Bolton Wanderers Academy and BWitC for educational purposes. These contributions are only possible thanks to the loyal support of Goldline Weekly Draw subscribers.
For just £4.34 a month, members have a chance to win prizes up to £1,000, while helping fund vital community projects. Every subscription makes a difference to both the club and its wider outreach.
